2026 Plantings

Our 3rd year of seedling planting took place last week when 6 Regeneration Australia workers and 2 Buch Block Guardians volunteers planted around 16,000 plants in our southern paddock. The team endured cold, rainy, foggy and windy conditions but happily completed the task. Dr Geoff Woodall prepared and direct-seeded the area a couple of weeks before this using his custom built machine. All seed for this project was collected from remnant bush on the property and included more than 27 native tree and shrub species, with the seedlings grown at a local nursery. This means around 140,000 seedlings have now been planted over 3 years, and the direct seeding has produced maybe another 250,000 new plants.  We thank Regeneration Australia for their wonderful continuing revegetation work.
